American Community Survey

The American Community Survey (ACS) is the U.S. Census Bureau’s annual survey of approximately 3.5 million households to understand the nation’s changing population and workforce. ACS data help policymakers — from government to tribal leadership to emergency planners — interpret trends and patterns in education, employment, homeownership, and more. This, in turn, informs how resources are shared with communities.
