The American Community Survey (ACS) is the U.S. Census Bureau’s annual survey of approximately 3.5 million households to understand the nation’s changing population and workforce. ACS data help policymakers — from government to tribal leadership to emergency planners — interpret trends and patterns in education, employment, homeownership, and more. This, in turn, informs how resources are shared with communities.
Help your community get the resources it deserves. Share resources on the ACS with your local libraries and community centers to encourage your neighbors and community members to fill out the survey if asked!
