Webinar: Census 101 and the Young Child Undercount: Issues, Resources, Next Steps

The decennial Census is core to our democracy and is key to the distribution of resources to the children, families and communities that we care about. It also provides essential data for state and city administrators and planners, such as where new schools should be built, and for child advocates who use the data to measure how children are doing and identify where policy changes are needed. If individuals and children are missed they are invisible to government, taking away their voice, representation and ability to be served.

Speakers: Corrine Yu from the Leadership Conference on Human and Civil Rights and William O’Hare, consultant to the Annie E. Casey Foundation
