Webinar: How Are People Counted in the Census?

We will dive deeper into how the Census counts members of the military; individuals living in group quarters such as dorms, shelters, and more; non-traditional households; and children.

Speakers:

Terri Ann Lowenthal is a nationally recognized expert, consultant, and frequent speaker on the U.S. census and policy issues affecting federal statistics. During a 14-year career as a congressional aide in both the House and Senate, she was staff director of the House Census Oversight Subcommittee from 1987-94. She is currently a consultant for the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights.

Bill O’Hare is a demographer with more than 40 years of experience on the census. He was a senior associate with the KIDS COUNTS Project at the Annie E. Casey Foundation. Bill is currently the President of O’Hare Data and Demographic Services LLC and consultant to the Leadership Conference Education Fund.
